Kids at KD
At Kingston Dental, we are committed to educating children about the importance of dental health and enjoy spreading our knowledge to the youth in our area.
At our office, we highlight the importance of preventative dental care which includes proper oral hygiene, a wholesome diet, and regular visits to the dentist. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry along with the American Academy of Pediatrics both recommend that children be first seen by a dentist by 12 months of age. We recommend beginning semi-annual visits by age three.
We offer our “Kids At KD” program in two options:
This visit includes an interactive presentation on all aspects of good oral health, including proper brushing and flossing techniques and the benefits of a healthy diet. We talk about what we do each day and how and why we take x-rays.
Office Visit/Field Trip
In addition to the topics covered at the school visit, we also give them a tour of the office.
In both programs, each child will receive a take-home bag with some cool items, as well as a daily/nightly tooth brushing chart.
